  • Steven K. Parady

    Steven K. Parady, Esq.
    Executive Vice President, Senior Trust Officer, Chief Fiduciary Officer

    Steve owned and operated his own corporation in Northeast Harbor for fifteen years before joining The First. He was a member of the Board of Directors from 1997 until 2005, and also served as the bank's Development Director.  He joined First Advisors in 1998.

    A graduate of the University of Maine, Steve earned his law degree at the Vermont School of Law in 1981, and has been a member of the Maine State Bar Association since 1982. He currently serves on the boards of several local charitable organizations.

    Steve and his wife live in Mount Desert.

  • Scott S. Hammond

    Scott S. Hammond, CFP, CFA
    Vice President, Chief Investment Officer

    Scott earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkley in 1981. After serving in the Peace Corps, he began his banking career in the Trust Department of Maine National Bank in Portland in 1984. He worked as a trader in this position until the bank was purchased by Fleet Bank in 1991. He became a portfolio manager for both individual and institutional clients at that time and worked in that capacity until 2001 when he joined The First as Chief Investment Officer. Scott is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP - 1990) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA - 1995).  He is a member of the Maine CFA Society, currently serving as Treasurer.

    Scott is active in many professional and local civic organizations. He recently served as President of the Mount Desert Island YMCA and currently serves on the Board. He also serves on the board of Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, is immediate Past-President of Bar Harbor (MDI) Rotary Club, currently serving on the board, and is treasurer of his local church.

    Scott and his wife live in Bar Harbor.

  • Lorraine Ouellette

    Lorraine Ouellette, CEBS
    Vice President, Senior Administration & Compliance Officer

    Lorraine Ouellette joined First Advisors in April of 2011 and brings with her over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her banking career at Fleet Bank of Maine in 1985 where she eventually assumed the responsibilities of Trust Employee Benefit Administrator. In 1992, Lorraine joined the Trust Department of Union Trust (now Acadia Trust), and by 2002 she had attained the position of Vice President and Trust Officer. While with Acadia Trust, she oversaw the relationship management and account administration for account relations totaling in excess of $60 million. Lorraine received her Associates degree in Business Management from Eastern Maine Community College and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Husson College. She has also completed online training with Cannon Trust School and completed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) program at the Wharton School of Business.

    Lorraine has served as board president for Special Children's Friends, and she served as treasurer for the Ellsworth Free Medical Clinic. She also participates in the Autism Society of Maine's Annual Walk for Autism.

  • Gary E. Stone

    Gary E. Stone
    Vice President, Portfolio Manager

    Gary joined First Advisors in March of 2010 and brings with him 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He started his career at Liberty Brokerage of New York City in 1985, and later worked for Cantor Fitzgerald Securities as an Inter-dealer Broker. Gary brought his financial experience to Maine by working as a Trust Officer at Banknorth Investment Management Group in Portland, and more recently as a Business Development Officer for Camden National Bank. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bowdoin College in Brunswick.

    Gary currently serves on the board of directors for Salt Bay Chamberfest, the advisory board for Camp Kieve, and the finance committee of Rising Tide Cooperative Market. He is a past president and active member of the Damariscotta/Newcastle Rotary Club, where he was presented with the 2002 Vocational Service Award for outstanding dedication to community welfare. Other accolades include Community Banker of the Year 2005 for the Maine Bankers Association and Presidents Award 2004 for the Damariscotta Regional Chamber of Commerce.

  • Matthew J. Weaver

    Matthew J. Weaver, CTFA
    Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager

    Matt started his career as an Account Representative at the Boston Group LP in 1995, and later worked for First Data Inc. & PFPC fund services as a Senior Mutual Fund Accountant. He joined First Advisors in November of 2000 as Operations Supervisor. In 2007, Matt was promoted to Assistant Investment Officer and assumed responsibility for performance reporting and portfolio management. As a Senior Portfolio Manager, his responsibilities include serving on the First Advisors Investment Committee and managing the portfolios of individuals, trusts, and non-profit foundations.

    Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maine and is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor.

    Matt enjoys volunteering his time coaching youth sports and is President of the Board of Wawenock Golf Club in Walpole. Matt and his family live in Nobleboro.

  • Peter Nicholson

    Peter Nicholson, CFP®
    Vice President, Portfolio Manager

    Peter Nicholson joined First Advisors in October of 2015. Pete earned a B.S. in Marine Engineering from Maine Maritime Academy in 2001. After working in the Merchant Marine Industry, he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance concentration in 2007 at the University of Maine and began his career in the Financial Services Industry with Fidelity Investments as a Mutual Fund and Equity Trader. Pete joined Charles Schwab Private Client Investment Advisors in Orlando, FL as a Portfolio Consultant in 2008 and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Since 2012 Pete has worked as a Vice President and Investment Officer at Bar Harbor Trust Services in Ellsworth, ME.

    He enjoys volunteering in the community and currently resides in Bar Harbor with his wife and daughter.

  • Timothy Wooster

    Timothy Wooster
    Vice President, Portfolio Manager

    Timothy Wooster joined First Advisors in April of 2016 and brings with him 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. Tim began his career as a Branch Manager for Chittenden Bank in 2006 and later joined the Wealth Management division of People's United Bank. He was promoted to Vice President and Portfolio Manager and served in that capacity until 2013. More recently, Tim worked for Bar Harbor Bank & trust as a Vice President and Investment Officer.

    Tim earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing and Advertising from Johnson State College. He has volunteered for numerous organizations over the years and enjoys being an active member of the community. Tim and his family reside in Camden.

  • Richard Price Jr

    Richard Price, Jr.
    Assistant Portfolio Manager

    Richard joined First Advisors in March of 2015 after working for two years in Portland in the financial services industry. Richard started his career in financial services at TD Bank in 2013. He has prior experience in banking, tax accounting, sales and customer service.

    Richard received his bachelor's degree in accounting as well as his MBA from Husson University in Bangor, ME. Richard has volunteered for numerous organizations in the Portland area and recently helped develop an accounting system for a non-profit organization. Richard enjoys volunteering and participating in the community in any way that he can.

    Richard and his wife reside in Bath.

  • Tony C. McKim

    Tony C. McKim
    and Chief Executive Officer, The First Bancorp

    After Graduating with Distinction with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maine, Tony went on to become an honors graduate at the New England School of Banking and earned a course certificate in Bank Investments and Financial Management from the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. He began his career in the financial industry with a CPA firm in Portland/Lewiston. He joined The First National Bank of Bar Harbor in 1992 as an Internal Auditor and progressed on to Controller, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer and was named President & CEO in February of 2000. After the acquisition of The First National Bank of Bar Harbor by The First National Bank of Damariscotta in January of 2005, Tony served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the combined entity. In 2015, Tony took over as President and Chief Executive Officer of The First Bancorp.

    Tony serves on several Boards of Directors of Maine organizations, such as Mount Desert Island (MDI) Hospital, Maine Seacoast Mission, Maine Bankers Association (Chairman) and Independent Bankers Trust. His involvement in his local community ranges from MDI Rotary Club to Chairman of the Board of Camp Beech Cliff and Trenton Cub Scout Leader.

    A native of Eastport, Tony now resides with his family in Trenton.

  • F. Stephen Ward

    F. Stephen Ward
    Executive Vice President
    and Chief Financial Officer, The First Bancorp

    Steve has more than 30 years' experience in business and banking. He holds a B.A. Degree and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Maine and has been employed by First Advisors and The First since 1990.

    In addition to managing equity and fixed income investments for clients of First Advisors, Steve also manages approximately $300 million of fixed income securities for The First's portfolio.

    Steve is involved in various community activities and recently stepped down as Chairman of the Edgecomb School Committee after serving for nine years.

    Steve resides in Edgecomb.

  • Amanda G. Horton

    Amanda G. Horton, CISP
    Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager

    Amanda joined the Bar Harbor branch of First Advisors in November of 2005 after a long history with The First. She joined The First in 1995 as a New Accounts Representative and was promoted to a Personal Banking Officer in December of 2000.  From there she served as a Consumer Loan Officer for three years before joining First Advisors as a Relationship Manager.

    Amanda graduated from the University of Maine in Farmington in 1994 with a B.A. in Business Economics. She has taken numerous courses from the Center for Financial Training, and has received a diploma from the Northern New England School of Banking. Amanda became a Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) in December 2012.

    Amanda previously served as a board member of both the Bar Harbor Kids' Corner and YWCA. She currently serves as the clerk for the Bar Harbor Band and plays the flute and piccolo with that organization.

    Amanda and her family reside in Bar Harbor.

  • Nazrin Dixon

    Nazrin Dixon
    Vice President, Business Development Officer

    Nazrin joined First Advisors in February of 2013 with the opening of a new First Advisors location in Bangor. She brings with her over five years of experience in the financial services industry.

    She began her banking career at Key Bank in 2007 as Branch Manager in the Showhegan, Waterville and Newport locations. As Branch Manager, she oversaw the relationship management and business development of the branches. In 2010, Nazrin received the Branch Manager of the Year Award among 54 Key Bank branches statewide.

    Nazrin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy at Colorado College. She was a member of Showhegan Rotary and served as an Ambassador for the Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce.

    Nazrin and her daughter reside in Newport.

  • Eileen R. Doreika

    Eileen R. Doreika
    Relationship Associate

    Eileen began her banking career in 1974 at Guarantee Bank and Trust in Worcester, MA. After moving to Bar Harbor with her family she worked at an insurance/real estate agency for ten years. She joined the First National Bank of Bar Harbor Trust Department in February of 2000 as Trust Administrator covering both operations and administrative work. She is currently Trust Operations Associate. She has taken many CFT courses over the years.

    In her spare time, Eileen serves on the Mount Desert Island Hospital Auxiliary Board of Directors as treasurer. She is a member of Beta Sigma PHI's local chapter having served as past president for a year then treasurer for nine years. She is very active in her Church serving on the Parish Council and treasurer of the Altar Guild. She also makes weekly visits to residents at her local nursing home.

  • Anne I. Logue

    Anne I. Logue
    Relationship Associate

    Anne joined First Advisors as a Relationship Associate in April 2010 to serve both institutions and clients with their various administrative and compliance needs.

    Anne graduated from Johnson & Wales Business College with a degree in Advertising & Public Relations. Since graduation she has served as an Office Manager and full charge Bookkeeper for a local manufacturing facility and then a large local retailer. She has also acted as an algebra tutor for the University of Maine at Augusta, and helps her husband with his marine surveying business.

    Anne is also a volunteer with the Bicycle Coalition of Maine and initiated a Safe Ways to School bike training for the students of Miller School. She and her family enjoy an active lifestyle of skiing, hiking, cycling and boating.

  • Laura A.Comer

    Laura A. Comer
    Relationship Associate

    Laura joined First Advisors in March of 2012 with an investment services and banking career that spans over 25 years. She has held numerous positions with wealth management, consumer and commercial areas of finance. Most recently, she was with Camden National Bank for over nine years. Prior to this, Laura spent 17 years with Fleet Bank both in Maine and New Hampshire. There, she was an Associate Relationship Manager in the Private Clients Group, the bank's investment management, trust and private bank area.

    Laura is a 1993 graduate of the University of New Hampshire-Manchester, with an Associates of Science degree in Business Administration. She has attended programs at the Cannon Trust School and the New England School of Banking at Williams College.

    Laura participates in Teach Children to Save and Junior Achievement programs. She is the past treasurer of the Damariscotta Region's Salvation Army Unit and is an active member of the Jefferson Village School PTA and Jefferson Sports Association.

    Laura and her family reside in Jefferson.

  • Patricia A. Dillon

    Patricia A. Dillon
    Trust Assistant

    Patty joined First Advisors in June of 2016, bringing with her many years of financial experience ranging from general accounting and bookkeeping to banking and trust services. She began her career in banking in 1984 as a Consumer Lending Associate for Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, and then spent several years working in the residential mortgage lending sector for several out-of-state banks. In 1996 Patty joined the former Union Trust Company as a Trust Operations Assistant. In her role there she was responsible for daily trade and cash settlements, income and dividend allocations, custodial asset reconciliations, and providing operational support to the financial services team.

    As a Trust Assistant with First Advisors, Patty’s primary responsibilities are to review all new accounts, maintain client imaging files, oversee the on-line client account access system, coordinate mass mailings and department outreach events throughout the year, and provide administrative support to the Account Managers. She also assists with reconciliations, compliance and regulatory review projects.

    Patty and her husband reside in Waltham, ME where she served as selectperson from 2005 – 2008, including holding the position of Treasurer for Union River Sold Waste Commission. Patty enjoys paddling on Graham Lake and spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens.
